According to the sources of officials, WA mining billionaire Andrew Forrest has made an announcement to spend $70 million for bushfire recovery in South Australia. Mr. Forrest has said that “he will give $10 million for building a volunteer army of more than 1200 people which will be drawn from mining and agriculture sectors to deploy to fire zones to assist in the rebuild of devastated communities.”
