A Sydney art teacher has been arrested at his home in the city’s south after allegedly sexually abusing one of his students. An investigation commenced in December 2019 following reports a 12-year-old girl had been sexually abused by a man known to her. The 83-year-old art teacher was arrested at his southern Sydney home on Wednesday morning and charged with 10 offences including having sex with a child under 10. Police will allege the man sexually abused the girl multiple times at his at-home art studio over a five-year period that spanned between 2013 and 2018. Investigations are continuing.
