President-elect Joe Biden has said it was “a good thing” that his predecessor Donald Trump is skipping his inauguration.
Mr Biden described Mr Trump’s decision as “one of the few things he and I have ever agreed on”.
“It’s a good thing, him not showing up.”
Mr Biden was scathing in criticising the current president over his behaviour leading up to the deadly Capitol riot.
