According to the sources of officials, a man has suffocated in the water at Ellery Creek Big Hole near Alice Springs. Police officials said that the 31-year-old man had failed to come out from the waterhole on Sunday. NT police said that “the man had gone swimming with friends about 5.30 pm on Sunday at the waterhole.” Police further made comment that “police and emergency services attended but could not locate the man.” The body was discovered near about 12.20pm today.
