A 20-year-old driver lost his control and hit an electrical pole in the centre of the tram tracks just after 9.20 am on Thursday. He was reported for drink driving, driving without due care, fail to truly answer and breach of P licence conditions. He lost his licence for six months and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date. Tram services between West Tce and Entertainment Centre were suspended temporarily with substitute buses deployed to transport passengers.
