A man has died after he was hit by a falling tree branch while playing a round of golf on the NSW South Coast.

A man has died after he was hit by a falling tree branch while playing a round of golf on the NSW South Coast. Emergency crews were called to a golf course on Clifford Close, Mollymook just before 3pm. Police were told the man, aged in his 50s, was on the course with three others when a tree branch fell on his head. The others weren’t injured and tried to help the man before paramedics arrived. Paramedics commenced CPR on the man but he died at the scene. A crime scene was examined by forensic officers and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
